Fujairah: UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei visited the Fujairah Oil Industry Zone to review the situation following a recent fire incident. During the visit, the minister inspected the measures taken by emergency response teams and relevant authorities to contain the fire. Officials briefed him on the systems implemented to control the blaze, emergency response plans, and safety mechanisms at oil facilities within the industrial zone.
Safety and risk management
The minister also reviewed safety infrastructure, preventive measures to reduce risks, and risk management systems operating within the industrial zone. As part of the visit, he toured the Emergency Response Centre and several facilities in the oil industry zone, assessing the equipment and technologies used to strengthen safety and emergency response capabilities.
Energy supply remains stable
Al Mazrouei said the country’s energy supply continues to operate normally, and that national energy systems and supply chains are functioning with high efficiency and preparedness. He also emphasised that authorities are continuously monitoring the situation to ensure market stability and uninterrupted energy supply, even in emergency situations. The minister praised the swift and efficient response of emergency teams and relevant institutions in bringing the fire under control.
