Motorists travelling in and around Al Warqa are advised to plan their journeys in advance, as the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has confirmed a temporary road closure for critical infrastructure works.
The RTA stated that the entrance to Al Warqa 1 from Ras Al Khor Road will be closed from 1:00am on December 28 until 1:00am on December 29 as part of the Al Warqa area access and exit development project.
The works are aimed at improving traffic efficiency, enhancing road safety, and ensuring smoother connectivity for residents and daily commuters. Drivers are urged to adhere to traffic signs, follow official instructions, and consider alternative routes during the closure period.
To minimise disruption, the RTA has recommended allowing additional travel time and staying updated through its official digital channels in case of any changes to the schedule.
The authority expressed appreciation for public patience and cooperation as it continues efforts to upgrade Dubai’s transport infrastructure.
