Dubai: Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has completed road development works covering 2 kilometres of internal roads in Nad Al Sheba 3, aimed at improving traffic flow and access to schools and residential facilities in the area.
The project included paving internal roads, applying road markings, installing directional traffic signage, and creating parking spaces, along with the installation of 50 lighting units to enhance road safety and visibility.
According to RTA, the works focused on roads surrounding Kings’ School in Nad Al Sheba 3, including Street 60, Street 62, Street 63, and Street 65. Traffic-calming measures were also implemented to ensure safer movement for students, parents, and nearby residents during school drop-off and pick-up hours.

The authority stated that the improvements are expected to reduce traffic delays by up to 35 percent, while facilitating smoother vehicle movement and better access to community facilities.
The development forms part of a broader internal road infrastructure plan for Nad Al Sheba 3 and 4, which includes road paving, new traffic links, dedicated cycling and pedestrian tracks, and additional parking spaces for residents. The entire project is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2027.
Nad Al Sheba continues to experience rapid growth in residential communities and educational facilities. With a population exceeding 30,000 residents, the area holds a strategic position near major corridors such as Dubai–Al Ain Road and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, making it an important link within Dubai’s transport network.
