Motorists travelling through Al Quoz this weekend have been urged to plan ahead, as Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced temporary road closures and expected traffic delays during the Quoz Arts Fest.
The popular cultural festival will run over two days, on Saturday and Sunday, 24 and 25 January 2026, attracting large crowds to Alserkal Avenue and the surrounding areas within the Al Quoz Creative Zone.
As part of traffic management arrangements, RTA confirmed that 17th Street will be closed starting from 11:00 pm on Friday, 23 January, and will reopen at 5:00 am on Monday, 26 January. Drivers are advised to divert via the service road connecting First Al Khail Street and Al Jreena Street.
Additionally, the service road between Al Jreena Street and First Al Khail Street will be closed from 10:30 pm to 3:30 pm on both Friday, 24 January, and Saturday, 25 January.
RTA has encouraged motorists to consider alternative routes, allow additional travel time, and follow traffic updates to minimise delays during the festival period. The authority reiterated its commitment to ensuring smooth traffic flow while supporting major cultural events across the emirate.
