Ajman: The UAE-based International Charity Organization has delivered Iftar meals to 600 villages through its Ramadan initiative.
Officials said that during the first half of Ramadan, the organization distributed 225,000 Iftar meals and more than 16,000 food parcels to beneficiaries.
Secretary General Dr. Khalid Al Khaja said the initiative reflects the UAE’s humanitarian approach and its commitment to supporting those in need.
Since the beginning of Ramadan, field teams and overseas offices have intensified their efforts to ensure assistance reaches beneficiaries on time and with dignity.
The organization has expanded this year’s program to reach more beneficiaries in response to increasing humanitarian needs in several countries.
The program is implemented through coordinated systems with relevant authorities in beneficiary countries to ensure efficient distribution while adhering to local regulations and humanitarian standards.
A field monitoring system has also been introduced to evaluate performance and measure outcomes.
In addition to Ramadan initiatives, the organization continues to implement humanitarian projects such as building mosques, schools, homes, health centers, drilling wells, distributing Zakat, providing Eid clothing, and supporting emergency humanitarian cases.
Dr. Khalid Al Khaja also expressed gratitude to donors in the UAE and abroad whose support has helped the organization reach millions of beneficiaries.
