Sharjah: A drone attack targeted the administrative building of Thuraya Telecommunications in Sharjah’s central region late last night (March 30).
According to the Sharjah Government Media Office, the incident occurred around midnight, causing structural damage to the building. However, no injuries were reported.
Officials confirmed that the drone involved in the attack originated from Iran. Following the incident, security forces and defense teams were immediately deployed to the site and successfully brought the situation under control.
Authorities have urged the public to remain calm and rely only on official sources for updates. The Sharjah Media Office also issued a strict warning against spreading rumors or misinformation on social media.
