Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced that Dubai Metro services on the Red Line have returned to normal following a brief disruption on Sunday morning caused by a technical issue.
The disruption affected train operations between Al Garhoud and Union stations. RTA confirmed that alternative bus services were arranged for passengers during the interruption to minimise inconvenience.
According to RTA, the issue was first reported at 8:36 am, and full service was restored by 9:00 am, bringing the disruption to an end in less than half an hour. Technical teams worked promptly to resolve the issue and ensure a smooth resumption of operations.
RTA thanked commuters for their patience and reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining safe and reliable public transport services across Dubai.
