Football fans heading to stadiums in Sharjah are urged to follow official safety and behaviour guidelines issued by Sharjah Police to ensure a secure and enjoyable match-day experience. Released under the motto “Comply to Enjoy,” the rules focus on crowd management, public safety, and respectful fan conduct.
Supporters are encouraged to arrive early to prevent entry delays and overcrowding at stadium gates. Carrying a valid ticket is mandatory, and fans must cooperate fully during security checks. Seating is strictly assigned, and moving to unauthorised areas is not permitted.
Public safety remains a top priority. Prohibited items include fireworks, flammable materials, and anything that could pose a security threat. Fans are also banned from crossing security barriers or entering the pitch. Any suspicious activity should be reported immediately.
Sharjah Police stressed that positive cheering and sportsmanship are key to maintaining a welcoming environment. Fighting, abusive behaviour, and the use of vulgar or offensive language will result in penalties. Flags and banners are allowed as long as they do not display inappropriate messages.
Spectators are also reminded to respect privacy by avoiding unauthorised filming and harmful content sharing. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside stadium seating areas, and fans are encouraged to dispose of waste properly to keep venues clean.
Authorities said following these rules ensures stadiums remain places of joy and celebration rather than conflict.
