The UAE will experience generally fair to partly cloudy weather this weekend, with a chance of light rain in some coastal and northern areas, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
The NCM said humidity levels will increase overnight and into Sunday morning across parts of the coast and interior regions. Winds will be light to moderate, occasionally becoming strong, blowing from the south-east to north-east at speeds of 10–20 km/h, with gusts reaching up to 35 km/h.
Sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf will be slight to moderate, while similar conditions are expected in the Sea of Oman. Temperatures will remain mild across the country, with daytime highs around 24°C in Abu Dhabi and Dubai and overnight lows between 15°C and 16°C. Northern and inland areas, including Ras Al Khaimah, Al Ain and Liwa, may see cooler nights, with temperatures dropping to as low as 13°C.
Humidity levels could rise to 90 per cent in some interior and western areas, while the east coast, including Fujairah, will continue to see relatively humid conditions through the day.
