Football legend Lionel Messi concluded his India visit with a spiritual and cultural moment at Vantara, a wildlife rescue, rehabilitation, and conservation centre in Jamnagar, Gujarat, on Tuesday.
Messi, who visited India as part of the ‘G.O.A.T. Tour of India 2025’, was seen participating in Hindu rituals and offering prayers in the traditional manner. In a video that has since gone viral on social media, the Argentine icon can be heard chanting “Har Har Mahadev” while praying, drawing widespread attention and appreciation from fans across the country.
The visit to Vantara, founded by Anant Ambani, also included interactions with rescued animals, highlighting the centre’s work in wildlife conservation and rehabilitation.
