The world’s largest book sale, Big Bad Wolf Books, is set to return to Dubai Studio City from Thursday, February 26 to Sunday, March 8, 2026, bringing millions of books at prices starting from just AED 2. Organized in partnership with the Sharjah Book Authority and Dubai Culture & Arts Authority, the highly anticipated event promises to once again attract families, schools, educators, and book lovers from across the UAE.
Held during the holy month of Ramadan, this year’s edition carries the theme “Beyond the Noise,” highlighting reading as a pathway to deeper understanding, critical thinking, and lifelong learning. The event has evolved into one of Dubai’s most awaited cultural attractions, offering an extensive collection that includes children’s books, educational titles, fiction, non-fiction, and self-development works.
Andrew Yap, Co-Founder of Big Bad Wolf Books, said the event has grown beyond being just a book sale and has become a meaningful family experience, especially during significant periods like Ramadan. He emphasized that by making quality books affordable and accessible, the initiative aims to nurture informed, curious, and thoughtful communities.
Mohamed Noor Herzi, Representative of the Sharjah Book Authority and Honorary Board Member of Big Bad Wolf Books, noted that the partnership reflects a shared commitment to expanding access to credible knowledge and strengthening reading culture across the UAE. He added that initiatives like the Sharjah International Book Fair and Big Bad Wolf Books complement each other in promoting books as a foundation for cultural development.
The 2026 edition, described as the largest and best in the Middle East, will run daily from 10:00 AM to 2:00 AM with free entry. Special arrangements have been made for families, book clubs, schools, and libraries to purchase books in bulk at significant discounts.
