Lulu Group has expanded its retail footprint in the UAE with the opening of a new hypermarket on Al Wahda Street in Kalba, Sharjah, marking a significant step in strengthening its presence in the city’s outskirts.
The new hypermarket was officially inaugurated by Dr. Ahmed Saeed Al Mazrouei, Director of Kalba Municipality, in the presence of senior government officials and Lulu Group leadership. Dignitaries attending the inauguration included Amna Al Zaabi, Head of the Economic Department, Kalba; Ibrahim Suliman Al Sharfa, Deputy Head of the Kalba branch of the Economic Development Department; and Yusuffali M.A., Chairman of Lulu Group, along with other officials.
With this opening, Lulu now operates 122 stores across the UAE. Speaking at the event, Yusuffali M.A. said the new hypermarket reflects Lulu’s commitment to strengthening community-based retail while offering quality products, value, and convenience to customers.
Spanning 43,000 square feet, the hypermarket offers a wide range of products including fresh food, groceries, bakery items, fashion, household essentials, and electronics. The store is equipped with modern retail infrastructure such as self-checkout counters and provides ample parking facilities to ensure a seamless shopping experience.
Customers can also benefit from special inaugural offers launched to mark the opening.
