DUBAI: Dubai is pulling out all the stops to celebrate the 30th anniversary (Pearl Jubilee) of the Dubai World Cup, the world’s most prestigious horse racing event. As part of the grand celebrations, travelers arriving at Dubai’s international airports are being greeted with a special commemorative stamp on their passports.
The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai launched this unique initiative, featuring the official ‘Dubai World Cup 2026’ logo. The move aims to offer a warm and memorable welcome to visitors arriving for the global sporting spectacle, which is set to take place at the iconic Meydan Racecourse on March 28.

A Personalized Souvenir for Every Visitor
The commemorative stamp serves as a permanent keepsake, symbolizing the UAE’s renowned hospitality and its deep-rooted connection to equestrian sports. To ensure a seamless arrival, the GDRFA has deployed specialized passport control teams at airport terminals. Their mission is to provide expedited immigration services, ensuring that fans and participants can begin their Dubai experience without delay.
