Dubai: Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that 10,500 people benefited from its community initiatives during Ramadan 2026, held under the theme “Family Is Where We Belong.” The programmes aimed to strengthen social responsibility while promoting values of solidarity and compassion.
The initiatives were carried out in collaboration with several partners, including Keolis MHI, Sobha Realty, Noon, Beit Al Khair Society, and Dar Al Hay Gents Tailoring.




Wide Participation and Community Outreach
RTA employees actively participated in the programmes, volunteering to prepare and distribute meals and Ramadan ration cards across various مناطق in Dubai. Distribution points included metro stations and marine transport hubs.
‘Eid Joy’ for Orphaned Students
As part of its efforts to spread happiness during the festive season, RTA organised the “Eid Joy” initiative in partnership with Keolis MHI and other entities. The programme provided Eid essentials and Eidiya (cash gifts) to orphaned students in collaboration with Al Ahliah Charity Schools.
Promoting Values of Compassion
RTA stated that the initiatives align with the objectives of the Year of the Family, encouraging community cohesion, volunteering, and humanitarian work. The authority reaffirmed its commitment to launching impactful programmes that support various segments of society.
