Dubai: The UAE has helped around 500 residents and Golden Visa holders stranded in various countries return safely amid the ongoing regional tensions, authorities said. The repatriation effort was coordinated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA).
Officials said the operation reflects the UAE’s humanitarian approach and leadership vision based on the principle of “People First.” The stranded residents were brought back to the UAE through various land and air border routes. Authorities also noted that more than 6,000 citizens and accompanying personnel had already been assisted in returning home since the start of the crisis.
Officials reiterated that ensuring the safety, stability, and quality of life of citizens, residents, and visitors remains one of the UAE’s top priorities. They added that relevant agencies had been fully prepared from the earliest stages of the regional developments, enabling them to respond quickly and efficiently.
Authorities said the successful repatriation efforts demonstrate the strong coordination among national institutions and the efficiency of the UAE’s governance system in handling complex challenges professionally.
