Ras Al Khaimah: UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, received renowned Italian sculptor Lorenzo Quinn, the son of legendary Hollywood actor Anthony Quinn.
The meeting was held at Saqr bin Mohammed City Palace, where Sheikh Saud highlighted the important role of art in promoting love and peace among communities.
He noted that visual arts play a vital role in strengthening cultural ties between societies. Sheikh Saud also praised the messages reflected in Lorenzo Quinn’s sculptures, including humanity, unity, tolerance, peace, and sustainability.
He added that Quinn’s works represent an artistic vision that reinforces universal human values.
During the meeting, Lorenzo Quinn briefed Sheikh Saud about his sculptures and various artistic projects. He also noted that his initiatives align with global efforts to raise awareness about environmental protection and sustainability.
