India secured their sixth ICC Under-19 World Cup title with a commanding 100-run victory over England at Harare, thanks to a sensational 175 from teenager Vaibhav Suryavanshi. His breathtaking innings off just 80 balls set the tone in a high-scoring final, helping India post 411 for 9 — one of the highest totals in U-19 World Cup final history.
Suryavanshi’s innings featured 15 fours and 15 sixes, blending power and precision while captain Ayush Mhatre (53) and Abhigyan Kundu (40) kept up the scoring rate. England’s chase began positively, with Ben Dawkins and Ben Mayes steadying the innings, but a sudden collapse from 142 for 2 to 177 for 7 swung the game in India’s favour.
Despite a counter-attacking century from Caleb Falconer (115), England were bowled out for 311 in 40.2 overs. Ambrish finished with 3 wickets, while Devendran and Chauhan picked up two each. India’s combination of explosive batting and disciplined bowling sealed a memorable triumph, underlining their youth cricket dominance.
