Lulu Group has strengthened its presence in the UAE’s suburban regions with the opening of a new Lulu Xpress store at Ghalilah Mall in Ras Al Khaimah. Strategically located near the UAE–Oman border, the outlet is expected to serve residents in the northern emirate as well as cross-border travellers.
The store was inaugurated by Sheikh Arhama bin Saud bin Khaled Al Qasimi, Director of the Office of the Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, in the presence of Yusuffali M.A., Chairman of Lulu Group, along with senior officials and dignitaries.
Spanning 19,200 square feet, the new Lulu Xpress offers a wide selection of groceries, fresh fruits and vegetables, bakery products, meat and seafood, household essentials, and beauty items. The outlet also features dedicated Ramadan promotional displays, self-checkout counters, and ample parking facilities to enhance customer convenience.
Speaking at the inauguration, Yusuffali M.A. said the expansion reflects Lulu’s commitment to bringing modern retail closer to communities and supporting regional development. “Our expansion into suburban areas enhances accessibility and convenience while contributing to the UAE’s economic growth,” he noted.
No Price Increase During Ramadan
Yusuffali confirmed that Lulu will maintain price stability throughout Ramadan, assuring customers that there will be no price hikes on essential goods during the Holy Month.
“Lulu remains committed to supporting families during Ramadan by maintaining stable prices and ensuring uninterrupted availability of essential products,” he said.
The retailer has introduced discounts of up to 65% on a wide range of Ramadan essentials while maintaining fair pricing on daily necessities. With sourcing offices in 27 countries, Lulu’s global procurement network ensures steady supply of staples including rice, flour, sugar, cooking oil, fresh produce, meat, poultry, and dates.
