Following the massive success of Pushpa 2: The Rule, Allu Arjun’s market value has reportedly reached unprecedented heights. Even before the release date of his next ambitious project, AA22xA6, is officially announced, the film’s OTT rights are said to have been locked in for a record-breaking amount.
According to industry reports, Netflix has allegedly acquired the digital streaming rights of AA22xA6 for a staggering ₹600 crore. If confirmed, this would mark the highest-ever OTT deal for an Indian film, setting a new benchmark for pre-release business in Indian cinema.
Directed by blockbuster filmmaker Atlee Kumar, AA22xA6 is currently under production and is being mounted on a massive scale. Reports suggest the film carries an estimated budget of around ₹800 crore, with nearly ₹350–400 crore reportedly allocated to visual effects alone. With the OTT deal said to recover nearly 75 per cent of the total budget, the film has already emerged as a highly profitable venture even before its theatrical release.
The film is expected to feature Allu Arjun in a double role, with reports claiming the actor is drawing a remuneration of approximately ₹175 crore, making him one of the highest-paid actors in Indian cinema. The project also marks the first-ever collaboration between Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone, who is reportedly being paid a substantial fee. Mrunal Thakur is confirmed to be part of the cast, while discussions are ongoing for Janhvi Kapoor to play a key role.
Earlier reports suggested that AA22xA6 would be released in two parts. However, recent information indicates that the makers have now decided to release the film as a single, large-scale feature. The release date remains unannounced.
Adding to the film’s scale, the VFX work is reportedly being handled by a renowned US-based visual effects company, known for its work on major Hollywood productions, raising expectations further.
While official confirmation from the makers is awaited, AA22xA6 has already become one of the most talked-about Indian films, promising a grand cinematic experience driven by star power, cutting-edge technology, and Atlee’s mass storytelling.
