Following the massive success of Pushpa 2: The Rule, Telugu superstar Allu Arjun has officially announced his next big project, marking his first-ever collaboration with acclaimed filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj. Tentatively titled AA 23, the film was unveiled this Pongal with a striking animated announcement video that has already sparked widespread excitement among fans.
The visually rich teaser opens with sweeping shots of open fields at dawn, filled with animated wildlife, before shifting focus to a lone figure—Allu Arjun—walking past a fire deep in the forest. Another powerful visual shows the actor standing atop a hill, attempting to control a restless horse, symbolising inner conflict and strength. The teaser culminates in a dramatic sequence where a pack of wolves charges at a lion, only to be halted by a thunderous roar, setting the tone for a high-impact cinematic experience.
The video concludes with the reveal, “A Lokesh Kanagaraj film,” accompanied by the tagline “Strive for greatness,” while confirming that filming will begin in 2026. The background score for the announcement is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, who will also score the full film.
Sharing the announcement on X, Allu Arjun wrote, “I SAY 23. Goin on a spree. Low-Key G. Locked in mentally. That’s a guarantee! Can’t wait for this one.” Meanwhile, the actor is also set to collaborate with director Atlee on another high-profile project alongside Deepika Padukone.
