Dubai: Google has introduced the new Google Pixel 10a, a mid-range smartphone offering premium features at an affordable price, starting at around AED 1,835 ($500).
The Pixel 10a features a 6.3-inch AMOLED display with an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, delivering smooth scrolling and vibrant visuals. The display reaches up to 2000 nits HDR brightness and 3000 nits peak brightness, making it suitable for outdoor use in the UAE’s bright conditions.
Powered by Google’s Tensor G4 processor with 8GB RAM, the device provides smooth performance for daily tasks, multitasking, and Android apps. The smartphone is equipped with a 5,100mAh battery that offers all-day battery life and supports 30W wired fast charging.
For photography, the Pixel 10a includes a 48MP main camera and a 13MP ultra-wide lens, along with a 13MP front camera for selfies and video calls. Google’s computational photography features help users capture detailed photos even in low-light environments.
The device runs on Android 16 and stands out with seven years of operating system and security updates, offering long-term support rarely seen in mid-range smartphones.
The Pixel 10a is available in lavender, berry, fog, and obsidian colors. Pricing starts at about AED 1,835 for the 128GB model, while the 256GB version costs around AED 2,200. The phone is expected to be available through major online retailers and electronics stores across the UAE.
